Joohyuk is definitely not the epitome of a graceless young geezer as his utter life, he has been taught that the most crucial thing he needs to constantly remember is—the art of being chivalrous. It somehow seems like an odd tradition of a typical average family to have somewhat a list of rules exerted upon every single member from the institution, but, the gallant manner has been running through Nam’s blood ever since. It has become a natural thing for them to act so charismatically without having to undergo an expensive practice.

That is more than enough to describe Joohyuk as a whole. He is well-mannered, and the utmost passion that he has for education is what that makes it easy for him to reach a state of equilibrium in taking possibly the hardest major of all time as his main interest, physics.

Being raised in a mere average family as the eldest son, a brother to his very own little sister, Joohyuk has never been introduced with the art of opulence most his friends are constantly bestowed with. The responsibilities carried on both his shoulders eventually teach him how to survive in the world that is so tyrannical—in a world where he believes education is the most important thing, the only way to get him a comfortable place or the most valuable throne he has been dreaming of ever since he was a child. An utter nerd is the most precise way to describe his passion for knowledge. Albeit so, he isn’t the quintessential type of a nerd in which someone is portrayed so comically with a gigantic pair of glasses that fail to fit their face. Joohyuk is an athletic nerd, the kind that works hard for everything, strives even for the smallest thing, and values education more than anything in this world. He, forsooth, is the opposite of an individual you’d want to pick up for a subject that concerns bullying.

Taking after his father, he is an expert romanticist, and that term only applies for when he shares a keen interest in an individual. The fact that he is can’t be seen by many as he seems to be wearing the cold façade all the time—especially to the spoiled kind that he is not very much so fond of. Though, there’s always an exception in everything and that just can’t be helped—not when he is utterly head over heels when it comes to a very certain someone, no matter how obnoxious they are all the fucking time. His hardwork was paid off when a company was willing to sponsor all of the fees and the money needed for a semester on the cruise.

He acts as a "natural" bodyguard for Hyunjin, the kind that he is so naturally protective over, can't be helped when he is in love with a school's sweetheart. Hyunjin is loud whilst Joohyuk is laid-back, lux but the juxtaposition is what he is fond of most, and the reason why he fell in love with him, too.
